You’ll find Journal through a non-descript entry way In the heart of the CBD. It’s tight and cosy inside with plenty of people packed in. It seems a favourite spot for lunchers with couples, groups and single diners situated around the cafe. It’s table service and on sitting down we were quickly given menus and our orders taken. We admit we may have made a mistake in ordering coffee, if you enjoy your coffee as much as we do then don’t bother ordering it here! Our first lunch dish was a toasty and warm Cuban. For $14 it was a good meal but there’s probably a better one to be found in the CBD.Our next selection was the make your own baguette, giving you a choice of fillings from the board.
