You’ll find this Vietnamese street food vendor on Clarendon Street, the place to be in South Melbourne. I went with a Vietnamese friend who visits regularly and spoke highly of their pho.You can place your order at the counter and from there we made our way upstairs. The staff were friendly and $9.90 was a good price to pay for a tasty and quick lunch.
I’ve been a fan of pho since trying it with a Vietnmese friend back in Perth. This noodle soup is such a satisfying and warming meal, I can’t say I’ve ever managed to finish a bowl the serving sizes tend to be so large.Having a big bowl of pho arrive to your table is certainly impressive, just add sauces as you please and eat away. There’s plenty of flavour lurking in that soup, even if it doesn’t look it. The beef was tender, there’s a bite of spring onion and plenty of noodle.
